DonationMatch Nonprofit Application

what to expect:

On behalf of donor companies in the DonationMatch network, the following credentials will be verified as part of the application process:

  1. You will be asked to create a DonationMatch login (email address and password) to save your organization’s information, request and offer activity, and donation records. Before proceeding, please be sure you are authorized to solicit donations on behalf of the organization for which you are applying.

  2. Your organization's exempt status. If current exempt status recognized by an applicable federal agency, IRS (U.S.) or Canada Revenue Agency (Canada), cannot be established through public online searches, additional IRS or CRA documentation will be requested.

  3. Your role (the applicant). Using an email address that matches your organization’s website URL whenever possible. Otherwise, we will contact you and/or staff members at your organization by email for verification.

  4. An updated website.

During account review, your status and any necessary information will be displayed on your DonationMatch dashboard.

Once account verification is successful, you will receive an email with next steps and instructions on how to add your first event to request donations for which you qualify.

By registering with DonationMatch, your organization consents to receipt of communication from DonationMatch and donor companies in our network from which you have accepted donations for updates on eligibility determination, donation requests, offers, status, fulfillment, and news.
